Wildheart Juniper Jedis know how to tap into the invisible web of interconnectedness and travel through the woods without being noticed. Students will learn the art of silently stalking animals and people. In addition, they will practice listening closely to the Earth Force. Camouflage is essential for all Juniper Jedis and we will spend a good deal of our time practicing this skill of becoming invisible. Each participant will leave the camp with a complete camouflage kit, which will enable them to quickly blend in to their surroundings, no matter what the situation. Additionally, students will develop their ability to understand the language of the birds, giving them a birds-eye-view of their surroundings and informing them what their prey is up to, as well as any nearby predators. All of this and well still have time to play and enjoy ourselves as every Juniper Jedi knows how to have a good time! Great childrens books serve as launching pads for dramatic adventures. So jump into some of the most awesome stories ever told to become the characters, then act out your favorite parts. Reimagine tales through movement, music, and art creation. Session III focuses on Neverland and the adventures of Peter Pan. Tiger Lily and the Lost Boys of Neverland need to outsmart Captain Hook to escape his clutches. Students will create costumes, sing a song, and spin their best stories to finish their adventure. The WCU Field Hockey Elite Level & GK Specialty Camp offers a unique op-portunity for the serious field hockey athlete. The camp has been designed to challenge athletes in settings different from the traditional camp situations. The camps will offer tactics and techniques in goal scoring, defensive strategy, and goal-keeping technique. Each evening will conclude under the lights with game play. These offerings will appeal to the serious field hockey athlete! EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, sunscreen, and a container of water (no glass). Goal-keepers must bring their own equipment.
