Kid's Cooking Camp - Lake Charles, LA
We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. LAKE ANN TEEN CAMP 2015 - Lake Ann, MI
Ladies and gentlemen it is that time again. The bus is ready. The camp is ready! and I know your ready for summer. Go to Lakeann.org and get yourself registered by paying your deposit. The deposit is $85 if paid by March 15th, it moves up to $125 if paid after March 15th. Once you have registered call SCCC and let us know (586) 781-2266. It is going to be an amazing summer. Mon, July 25, 2016 - Fri, July 29, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Bugs ‘n’ Blooms (Ages 4-7) Shrink down to explore the world of creepy crawlers and fabulous flowers! Students will be introduced to the beauty and fun of insects and will explore their environments in a class where art meets science. Young entomologists will create a variety of 2D and 3D forms using materials from nature and an army of art supplies using paint, collage, clay, printmaking, mixed media, and more. Come bug out with us! Storytellers (Ages 4-7) Storytelling helps students improve their language skills, instills a love of reading and stirs imaginations. In this first-time class, talented professor of visual art Jennifer Pepper will guide students through painting, drawing and mixed media activities based on a variety of classic and contemporary children’s stories. Recycle-O-Rama (Ages 8-12) Students will be guided through using everyday recycled materials to think creatively, outside the box, and exercise their imaginations using unusual and recycled everyday objects like scrap wood, water bottles, used cardboard and plastic, styrofoam, aluminum foil, string, rope, toilet paper & paper towel rolls and more to create one-of-a-kind “Outsider Art” projects. Beginning and Advanced Sewing with Machines - The Evergreen School
Children can spend their week learning to sew or improving their sewing skills. A sewing machine will be provided for each student to use during class. Beginning students will start with a tote bag and pencil pouch. Advanced students will be able to choose what they would like to make from different patterns presented. Several projects will be available for both boys and girls. No previous sewing experience is necessary. 206-957-1533

SummerART Camp Full Day Studio Art Program 9:30am to 5pm Studio Art with Painting Studio Elective Session III: July 25 to August 5 Studio Art Camp Farm to Easel: Animals of the Northeast Celebrate the wonder of summer by exploring the animals and plants that live, blossom, and grow all around us. This session will explore our regions animals and plant life. From the farms to the forest, and birdhouses to beaches, we will be inspired by the colors, shapes, and sound of the flora and fauna that are local to our area. Weather permitting, campers will explore nature on MAMs grounds and at Van Vleck House and Gardens. We will create works of two and three dimensional art in a variety of media inspired by our observations and imaginations!
