This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups and a learning experience for those campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to Teen Issues, School Issues and How To-Be-A Friend are lead by the pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians and mental health professionals. Networking and the support of their peers is critical to this age. Campers are also treated to activities such as a beach party, luau, casino night and land sports.

Youth Ski Trip - Freedom, NH
Youth Ski Trip: for our 7th-12th grade students from Friday February 10th to Sunday February 12th we will be at Camp Calumet in West Ossipee, New Hampshire for a wonderful and blessed weekend of skiing and being in fellowship with one another. Make sure to sign up and get your forms located on the Sunday School Bulletin Board (they will be posted in January 2017). Make sure to come to the Parent & Youth meeting on February 5th before church at 8:30am to go over payments, fill out paperwork and go over the schedule for the Youth Ski Trip. Cost is $130.00 per person this year and if you are in need of rentals or lessons, it will be an additional $20.00 each (they are really $30.00 each, but Northside picks up the other $10.00 per lesson or/and rental for each person). Please make sure to attend our Brunch Fundraiser on February 5th after church to raise funds for travel and for our chaperones. If you are unable to go to the Fundraiser, you will need to pay an additional $25.00.

One of the hottest new trends, 3D printing is perfect for prototyping, CAD development skills, and is just plain fun! 3D printers work by following a computers digital instructions to print an object using materials such as plastic, ceramics and metal. The printing process involves building up an object one layer at a time until its complete. This is an interactive camp designed to teach campers how to optimize designs and create a three-dimensional object of almost any shape from a 3D model. Campers will learn about CAD (computer assisted design), modeling and prototyping, the history of 3D printing, and how businesses and entrepreneurs are using 3D printers for everyday applications.
