Footsteps Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp is an opportunity for extended Mandarin immersion. While having a fantastic time, your child will begin to acquire the ability to use Mandarin correctly and confidently in various daily tasks and social situations. Our dynamic, experienced staff is either native speaking or fluent. Campers spend each day moving from one activity to the next, designed to provide an immersion experience while still allowing for a ton of fun. Your child will love exploring the language and traditions of China by tasting authentic Mandarin cuisine—using Chinese words, of course, and learning about and creating traditional Mandarin arts and textiles and taking field trips to expand your childs knowledge. A week or more of camp will help boost your childs language ability! There is a weekly field trip and special event. Two healthy snacks are provided each day. I sent I child here last summer and she had a horrible summer! She told me horrible things! When I called the place the complain, the phone was not even working. They have the worst customer service ever. My daughter said they were also hungry and was never fed enough. She was bullied at the camp and said no adult did anything about it. Teen BootCamp Night - Schofield, WI
Our instructor will start off with 25 minutes in our spin room, where we turn the lights down and the music up. 2016 RVA Spring Break Trout Fishing Camp - Forest Hill Park
We have access to a great pond near Richmond that is stocked with trout during the colder months. We will head there to fish for stocked rainbows as well as bass and bluegill. We provide all the equipment. No experience needed. Boys and girls ages 7-15. Times 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cost $75. 804-272-6362

Tumbling - ES/FCPS - Fairview
Tumbling will introduce students to the beginnings and basics of all gymnastic skills, including an introduction to form in more advanced tumbling as well as work on flexibility. Week 2 AM - Kayak Fishing - NESS
This week is open to experienced kayakers and anglers who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Some of last years catches included porgies, snapper blues, pilot fish, trigger fish and even a remora! You never know exactly what will happen in this exciting class where we get to explore more closely some of the best inshore fishing spots. We will be teaching the basics of fishing from a kayak, tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. We practice catch and release only. In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016-- as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question type on the math section of the SAT. During the week, youll learn strategies for approaching math questions that not only will help you move through the test more efficiently but will also help improve your accuracy. We will also review the essential skills and concepts you need to know from pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, and geometry. Youll leave this camp with the confidence and skills to make your best score yet on SAT math! Prerequisite: Common Core Math I and II or equivalent. (An SAT book will be provided.
