Comedy Club 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Whether your child is a real ham or standup comedian, they will love this class. Improvisation games, made up characters, silly settings, and ridiculous problems to solve, they will use it all to make the audience crack up! This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves. Students will participate in ensemble building, improvisation games, and exercises to stretch their imagination as they develop skills to think on their feet. PLACES EVERYONE! The curtain is rising on a great chance to find your theatre voice. Through a series of FUN master classes that focus on everything from vocal techniques and how to read music, to solo and ensemble work in acting, song, dance, and improvisation, this unique workshop will help you build your own tool kit of theatre essentials, as you create your own work! In addition to an ending showcase, we will be joined by special, guest experts in stagecraft, create our own visuals, and learn audition techniques that will connect everything we will do over the three weeks. Pathways from Medieval to Modern Knighthood - Lower School Gym Building G
Campers will learn the ways of the medieval world as they experience a week in the life of a knight in training. Campers will learn about medieval history, mythology, European martial arts, woodcraft, and a whole host of skills necessary for survival in the medieval world on the path to becoming a knight. The foundation of the camp will be learning the knightly art of combat with the two-handed longsword. Campers will use specially constructed training swords with nylon blades and safety equipment to learn the fighting techniques of the German style of longsword combat. Over the week, we will evolve our training to the modern Olympic sword comparing the lives then, and the lives now of modern heroes. Offered in partnership with Midsouth Fencers Club 9194932642.0

Through a series of 5 lessons, taught by our Head Golf Professional Chase Wells, you will learn the basics on putting, chipping, sand shots, full swing, and how to keep pace.
