Instructor: Hawley Session 2: Machine Building Camp. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Come as an individual or bring your friends to this outrageously fun day camp. We will do survivor games and activities in the mornings and enjoy the cool water of Lake Eagle in the afternoon. Lunch provided each day with kid friendly foods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants will need to bring a towel, bathing suit, sunscreen and waterbottle for the day.
