Skyhawks Multi Sport Camp Our multi-sport camp is designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. For this program, we combine soccer, baseball and basketball into on fun-filled week. Athletes will learn the rules and essentials of each sport through skill-based games and scrimmages. By the end of the week you child will walk away with knowledge of multiple sports along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork, and self-discipline. All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle and merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is 12:1. Participants should bring appropriate clothing, a lunch and snack, water, running shoes, a baseball glove and sunscreen. This intensive 2-week course is for teens aged 12 to 18 who are working professionally. This conservatory offers a rigorous, pre-college curriculum of movement, voice, improv, and scene study. Industry professionals, including award-winning casting director Donna Morong ("PRINCESS DIARIES", "10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU", "CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN"), writer/actor Sarah McCarron (HBOS "LUCK", "NEIGHBOR"), and writer/director John Hindman ("THE ANSWER MAN") teach the course. Adventure Camp - Week 7 - The Greenwell Foundation
Adventure Camp is for children ages 8 – 12 (by first day of camp session). Why is Adventure Camp different? Campers are provided the opportunity to explore further into the park with longer hikes, shelter building, and learning how to build a campfire – and then Smores! Part of Adventure Camp is letting the group direct what activities they would like to do by coming up with new and exciting adventures. The staff has the freedom to be creative when making these fun adventures come to life. Campers will have an opportunity to kayak twice during the week, including a visit to the Hollywood Oyster Company. They will create and run their own unique obstacle course, go fishing and crabbing from the pier, and build their own boats out of recycled materials and test to see if they are sea-worthy. Mid-week, campers will hike to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program.
