No theme, just great fun creating wonderful pieces of artwork while using a mixture of artist quality materials including clay, watercolor, paint, soft pastels, oil pastels, Art Stiks, illustration markers, Aqua Stiks, and more! Try your hand at Zentangle patterns, printmaking and collage to create mixed media and 3D designs. As students work in these different media components, they will culminate in self-discovery and creation of original art projects with a distinctive flair! Bring lunch, snack and water. Amazing Summer Adventure
We felt it was very important for our kids to spend at least a portion of the summer surrounded by nature. They got plenty of that at Moss Hollow! This was a summer of first for our children including first time in a canoe, first time sleeping overnight outside the home, first time camping, first time fishing. PRE-REGISTRATION will need to be done by February 22nd. This will guarantee a T shirt for those registering & will give us a head count for food & dorms. UCLA UniCamp is a tradition at UCLA that is entering its 81st summer of camp. The session I will be attending this year (Session 2) is during June 25- July 1. Every year there are hundreds of under-served children that may not be dreaming of a bright future. Help us provide these kids with the tools to change their stars and give them the chance to dream big and succeed! All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this summer. I must fundraise this money in order to be able to send these kids off to camp for one week. Students will learn about the importance of characterization & what make a difference during an audition. They will have so much fun, they won't know they are learning advanced skills. Have fun learning about fish and fishing while using maps, engineering, fisheries research, and innovative design while constructing a fishing rig. Use dip nets, a cast net, rod & reel, and fish traps to provide background for biological observations. Look to the past to explore the ocean lore of mermaids, sea monsters, and giant squid as well as glacial and fresh water influence. Perform a fish dissection and learn more about fishing in the past, present, and future. Includes: fishing, engineering, boat trips, & snorkel adventures 860-535-9362

Design & construct your own LIFE-SIZE gravity-powered racing car in our fully equipped woodshop. Youll master all of the power, hand tools & equipment needed to construct the wooden body and build in cable steering, a hand break, and wheel axles. Youll come up with classy designs and hand cut vinyl decals to finish it off to be cool & racy. News alert: Youll carry on the tradition built by over 2500 Coyote racing-car builders.
