Costa Rica Teen Expedition Camp Information Meeting - Torrance, CA
The Torrance-South Bay Y and Unearthed Travel are hosting a life-changing journey to Costa Rica for teens ages 14-17 next summer, July 2017! Students will travel as a team and will participate in: hands-on community or conservation project, challenging and breathtaking trek through the rainforest or up the tops of volcanoes, and exploration of the amazing sites and action packed activities of Costa Rica. Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. This week is designed for high school aged campers: we start later and go longer. The morning has lots of options for early risers and the nights always end around campfires or stars. Sometimes you need to step out of the hectic high school schedule and be reminded. Reminded, that you are surrounded by friends, and a world full of wonder that is greatly loved - by a great God! After Triple A is over, you and your friends will stay on Saturday to begin your second week of adventures. This is the Ultimate 100 Camp Invite Only event for current Juniors/Rising Seniors. It will be located in Dallas, TX area. States that are in this region are Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE U100 IN YOUR REGION, YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR THE CAMP AT ANY OTHER LOCATION. It is the only national camp in the USA, where we will rank the top 100 players from a select group campers Top Juniors in the USA over one day. In addition, we will choose top athletes from this camp to the U100 Top Propsect Camp and Potentially the NUC All American Game. Baseball Camp A - Warner Park Baseball Complex
The basic design of the CDS Baseball camp is to help young baseball players develop a fundamental baseball skill set and learn tactical elements of the game. The goal of the camp is to equip campers with the skills to compete at a high level of play. The camp will be directed by David Houseton, CDS Varsity Baseball Head Coach at Covenant Day School. He will be assisted by his coaching staff as well as former and returning Covenant Day baseball players.
