My kids were able to experience a lot of different things at Camp Tecumseh this summer. They have the usual camp activities, but they also have rock wall climbing, archery, riffly, tube slides, a nature center, candle making, disc golf, fishing and a mini farm. Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp - Gig Harbor, WA
Join us for the kick off to our Summer Kids/Teen CrossFit Camp. We will be doing baseline measurements to test speed, explosiveness, and strength. Then re test every 5 weeks. A makeup test will be performed on Tuesday, Maybe 21st at 4:30pm. Your child should arrive on time, with proper attire and footwear. Flat bottom shoes are preferred for lifting. They should be well hydrated and have eaten. They should also bring a water bottle. We have water to fill their bottles, but will not provide cups. We will go the full hour each day. We will split out time between inside and outside, so sunscreen may be needed. Parents and driving teens, please drive careful when coming up Foster, especially across the Cushman trail cross walk. Also, be aware of clients from classes before and after the camp coming and going. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and across the street in the grassy field.

OUTDOOR YOUTH DAY - West Palm Beach, FL
Outdoor Youth Day is February 4,2017 at the Everglades Youth Camp 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will be the Florida Sportsmens Conservation Association 14th Annual Outdoor Youth Day Event and It’s FSCA bigiest day of the year. This event has buggy rides, airboat rides, pony rides, and canoeing, archery, gun range instruction, fishing and wildlife shows to reach kids of all ages and show them the benefits of being outdoors instead of in front of a TV. This annual event had over 1,000 participants that came last year and over 100 volunteers that worked the whole day. Please call Caroll at 561 795-1375 for more information.

Sports Camp week 5- Basketball (ages 5-12) - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of basketball camp, children will focus on the fundamental skills necessary to excel in the sport including dribbling, passing (chest passes, bounce passes, and overhead passes), shooting (jump shots and full shots), and man to man defense. Agility and hand eye coordination will also be emphasized. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of basketball camp will focus on the basic rules such as traveling, double dribble, charging and blocking, as well as the duties of each position. Additionally modified games of basketball and cooperative games such as knock out, PIG, around the world and 21 will be played during the last hour. As the skills of each child advances, the third hour will consist of more realistic game like situations and a mini tournament based upon age group. Equipment will be provided. New This Year! Rookies - Session I - Camp Jack Hazard
Rookie Camp is a four-day, three-night mini-session designed for first time campers as an introduction to the camp and preparation for a full length Camp Jack Hazard session. Campers will try all of the activities available to Resident Campers, including: games, campfires, camp programs and an on-site overnight where theyll have the opportunity to sleep under the stars without leaving CJH grounds.
