Educators provide a rich learning environment for the children in the Pre-K program including many sensory experiences, hands-on activities, language immersion opportunities, and Kindergarten readiness integration. Children construct their own learning and knowledge from the endless opportunities and the guidance provided by the educators. This special learning environment is a product of our philosophy of the image of each child as competent, capable, and curious. Educators also provide children with integrated opportunities to practice learned Jewish ethics and values each day through lessons on the Jewish holidays, books, games, rituals, and customs. Pre-K educators also meet each year with Austin Independent School District (AISD) Kindergarten educators and Austin Jewish Academy (AJA) Kindergarten educators to discuss student expectations and recent educational developments. Schedules for each Pre-K class include both large and small group times as well as times for individual choice in centers and on the playground. Children learn to follow directions and transition between activities. Great Equestrian Camp
This is a wonderful camp to send your child to if they love to ride horses. The counselors are great and seemed to instantly love the kids. My child stayed mostly in the equestrian part and learned a lot from the instructors. They seemed to love their jobs working with horses and kids. When we went to pick up our child, he did not want to leave. He had made many friends and will consider this experience one that he’ll always remember. ... Read More...

You will be taking tours of local theatre spaces and seeing performances around town. This is truly a unique experience if you have an interest in the theatre arts and performance art. Next Camp is May 7th! We are holding another kids camp on Saturday May 7th. Our first few camps have gone great and we are hoping to continue building, bringing out new faces, and learning the game. Please bring out any kids, boys or girls, ages 6-12 years whether they be your own kids or others that you invite. All activities are non-contact, touch-style rugby. We got our parade rained on a little bit for the last camp, the weather turned quickly overnight on us when the storms weren't expected to show up until the afternoon. We will keep on eye on the report leading up to the event and make an announcement if necessary. Please spread the word!

2016 Survival Day Camp - Botetourt County Recreation Department
This day camp will take adventure, competition and teamwork to fun heights as we play and do creative activities to see who will take the Survivor prize. Come as an individual or bring your friends to this outrageously fun day camp. We will do survivor games and activities in the mornings and enjoy the cool water of Lake Eagle in the afternoon. Lunch provided each day with kid friendly foods. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants will need to bring a towel, bathing suit, sunscreen and waterbottle for the day. Lunch will be provided but if a child has an allergy to some foods, you will need to pack their lunch. Children will be dropped off at Camp Eagle at 9am and will need to be picked up at 4pm each day. High School & Junior College Evaluation Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Evaluation Camp: Check in 8:00 - 9:00 AM. Camp Hours will be 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will take a 30 min lunch break around 12:30 PM. The morning will consist of a pro-style workout that will assess running, throwing, and fielding tools. The afternoon will consist of Batting Practice and pitchers throwing to hitters in a game format.
