We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Camp - University of Texas at Austin
The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions. From 2D to 3D: Transforming Concept to Production (Ages 9+) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Learn about the process of taking an idea from concept, to drawing, to a printable 3D model. Students will spend the first part of the course at Ah Haa exploring both geometric and organic drafting by hand and discussing how to create art for the printing process. The course will then move to Pinhead, where students will learn how to turn their art into computerized 3D models using Solidworks. Their drawings of jewelry, ornaments, sculptures, and more will then be brought to life with Pinheads 3D printer. 970.728.3886

Undersea Cartoon Characters - Valle Verde Elementary
Instructor: Pamela Howett () Room: D-5 In this engaging class students will draw favorite undersea animals, including dolphins, sea stars, clownfish and more while learning fundamentals of art. Our fun projects are geared towards developing drawing skills within each class, as well as encouraging individual creativity and expression. While many of the projects are guided, each student works with his or her own vision and produces a unique finished piece. This class helps children develop cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. SoCal Youth Tri Series Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim Clinic - South Shores Park, Mission Bay
Our USA TRIATHLON CERTIFIED COACHES will make sure your child is well prepared for their Kids Triathlon Open Water Swim! We will practice sighting, navigating their swim course, pacing their energy, and practice entries and exits. Child must be able to swim 100 yds. Wetsuits highly recommended. Each child earns 1 point towards series awards for participating in the clinic. Plus, Healthy post event refreshments. EVENT DETAILS AND SCHEDULE Event email will be sent to all participants the week of the clinic with all the details. Clinic will start at 2:30p check in time and end at 4:30p.
