Teens Summer Camp Half Day session 8 - Alliance Francaise Los Angeles
Teens dive deep into French in our summer immersion classes. Every week, students will focus on improving French reading, writing and conversation skills. Grouped according to age and level, our highly trained teachers will lead teens to pick up communication skills while exploring Francophone culture. Open to all levels of Middle and High School French. These camps will help students in transition from Middle to High School, review past materials, get a head start on new material and skip a grade level. Mornings will focus on academics and in the afternoons teens will explore French cultures in Los Angeles with a program designed just for them!

Working with Natural Dyes - Common Ground
Join Robin Green, fabric artist, to learn the basics of using natural materials to create beautiful fabric dyes. This workshop is for adults and young adults. RSVP required- will be canceled if registration is low. Sliding scale, $15 – $35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Speed & Agility Camp, Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: Wroubel Center, main gym, outdoor & sand courts About: Students who attend this camp will work on all aspects of conditioning, including but not limited to speed training, agility, quickness, and anaerobic conditioning. This camp incorporates sprint mechanics and footwork as it relates to various cone, ladder, band and sprint drills, first step quickness and lateral movements. Students will be exposed to different resisted movements as well as basic agility and plyometrics. Great for sports that need high levels of conditioning like Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc. By using some of these techniques, some of the 2015 football players lowered their 40-yd dash & pro-agility and increased their vertical jump. This will also help soccer with improving pre-season testing results and in-season conditioning. **Sign up for both speed & agility sessions and pay only $100. Discount will automatically load at checkout.** What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, shoes for indoor and outdoor, socks, water bottle, and a readiness to prepare for your upcoming season. Fossil Beach Field Trip - EcoAdventures
Fossil Beach Field Trip (Led by our very own Mei Len Sanchez Barr) June 29th 9am – 4pm $80 Are you ready to go Fossil Hunting? Join our team of fossil hunter enthusiasts, where we will go in our ECOADVENTURES Snake van to Matoaka Beach in St. Leonards. Put your skills to the test (and with a little luck), dig, unearth, and uncover, shark, crocodile, whale, skate and rays, and shells fossils from the Chesapeake Bay! Best part- is you get to keep what you find! Learn and participate in seining activities where we will look at the marine life and catch fish, eels, shrimp, crabs, and more! Have your team participate in a beach scavenger hunt. All this fun will make you hungry for a BBQ lunch with hot dogs, chips, and a drink while you relax in a gazebo overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.
