This camp will explore the inner harbor of Redwood City, while learning the basics of water safety, kayaking, outrigger paddling, and stand up paddling (SUP). Each day participants and their instructors will paddle to a different destination around the Harbor learning about the conservation and ecology of Redwood City, while having fun paddling. On Friday, campers will enjoy Kayak and Standup Paddle Board Relay Races. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Price includes Camp T-shirt, goodies and a certificate with group photo. Please bring water resistant sunblock, shorts, windbreaker, towel, and a change of clothes. Water shoes (Aqua Socks/Teva) are recommended. Life jackets will be provided. FCYD Camp is proof positive that being diagnosed with diabetes means you have to live a sheltered life. We tried to tell that to our daughter all the time but she never really embraced the idea until she found herself surrounded by kids in her same situation. Firefighter Youth Camp - Limerick, PA
Limerick Fire Company's Third Annual YOUTH FIREFIGHTER CAMP June 20-24, 2016; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6-13 years of age Registration Fee: $35; deadline to register: May 30, 2016 Welcome to Limerick Fire Company’s Youth Firefighter Camp. Due to the success of our camp, the deadline to register cannot be extended and attendance is limited to 60 campers. All registered cadets will receive one LFC Fireman’s tee shirt and LFC baseball cap to wear as their ‘daily uniform’. Hat and designated ‘uniform shirt’ must be worn every day because it identifies which group the cadet is assigned to for the week. If you are interested in purchasing extra camp shirts, they must be ordered at the time of registration-$10 per shirt. Why try this Camp? Junior Winds Camp 7/25-7/29 - New Jersey Youth Symphony
This camp will focus on fundamentals and strengthening the skills of young wind and brass players as well as performance. Students will work on two instruments their "major" instrument that they have been playing, and a "minor" wind or brass instrument of their choosing. Secondary instruments will be provided. The day will start with sectionals and technical fundamentals, after a snack and time playing musical Jeopardy and other games, campers will wrap up playing in the full ensemble. Six months playing experience required. Some 4th graders may be eligible to enroll with director approval. This camp takes place at 570 Central Avenue in New Providence. This camp is full of playful, educational and safe activities for 3, 4 and 5 year olds, designed to inspire a connection with and love of nature and the outdoors. During our time together, your children will feed and care for the farm animals, get creative with arts and crafts, experience the garden through digging, planting and harvesting seasonal flowers and vegetables, laugh and smile during story and music time and explore freely in the natural open playspace we call The Grove.
