Kid’s Camp at Polaris is designed for students ages 6-12 and offers a full or half day experience, Monday through Friday. A typical day at Kid’s Camp includes several dances classes of multiple disciplines including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Aerial, Tap classes and more! Join local DMV native and star Miami Dolphins linebacker Jelani Jenkins for the ultimate kids football camp this summer. The camp will be hosted by Jenkins and ten NFL Players from around the league. The non-padded, light contact camp aims to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. In this camp, you will learn about fossils, dinosaurs, human history, artifacts, and Native American arrowheads, shells and pottery, rocks and minerals, and medicinal plants. Campers will have the time of their lives digging in dirt, painting with actual paint rock chunks from a quarry, and learning the secrets that our earth holds. Campers explore science, arts and crafts, math, environmental education, computer keyboarding and software, and geocaching each week. The camp offers instruction and supervised play in a variety of sports. In addition, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and charity as they join the other Hawks Haven campers on field trips when appropriate.
