A two week youth tennis camp! Participants will participate for 45 min each day for 10 days (Monday-Friday). Camp is organized by ages AND physical/skill level. Register your child in the group that seems most appropriate. Camp Objectives 4-6 Years Old: use tennis to develop basic skills of movement, catching, throwing and hitting, 30 minutes 6-8 Years Old: to develop athletic skills, technical and game skills for the tennis environment, 45 minutes 7-10 Years Old: to develop tennis-appropriate athletic, technical, game and competitive skills, 1 hour 9-11 Years Old: to combine tennis-appropriate technical, tactical, physical, and psychological skills for competition, 1 hour LOCATION TBA INSTRUCTOR Elizabeth Smith

This will be an open house from 2pm to 5pm. All sales made help and are very much appreciated as ALL commission from this fundraiser will go towards Natalie storm and her royal family kids camp. Keep your kids busy and happy during Winter Break! The Vail Recreation District's Winter Break Camp provides children 5 - 12 and grades K - 5 with a variety of fun activities and winter outings. The camp is based out of the Red Sandstone Elementary School gymnasium in Vail. The cost is $40 if registered by December 14th or $45 if registered after December 14th. Visit booths representing camps, afterschool activities, birthday party venues, health care professionals, schools and more at our 14th Annual Fair. The Fair will be held at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Rd. just across the street from Meijer and behind Fayette Mall. We fill both of the gyms at the school. Each booth will have a fun activity for kids while Mom and Dad chat with the professionals. You'll find giant inflatables, face painting, costumed characters, games and giveaways. While you are there you can enter your kids in our Cover Model Contest. Professional photographer Lucy Chesnut, of Glitter and Sawdust Studios, will take photos of all their smiling faces and we'll use those pictures to choose winners who will appear on the covers of Lexington Family Magazine in the next year. We'll also have performances all day long from some of the most talented kids in the bluegrass including dancers, martial artists, gymnasts and more. Best of all? IT'S FREE! Shoot to Score Hockey and the Texas Junior Stars will be hosting the Battle Camp giving players a great opportunity to compete with and against some of the top players in their age group. Showcase your abilities and compete level to the Junior Stars coaching staff through high tempo drills, small area battles, and game like situations. ALL ASSOCIATIONS and ALL LEVELS are encouraged to participate. All sessions are scheduled for the evenings. (204) 797-8049

The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions.
