Clark Youth Theatre Summer Camp Sign Ups - Tulsa, OK
Clark Youth Theatre will hold a series of summer Theatre Camps at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center. Enrollment begins Saturday, April 2nd at 8:30am. Each two-week camp includes classes on acting, dancing, and other performance skills. This is a great opportunity for children ages 8-14 who are interested in theatre and performing arts. Campers must have completed the second grade. The cost is $225 per session. The remaining dates for summer Theatre Camp are: Session 1: June 6-17 Session 2: June 20-July 1 Session 3: July 5-15 Session 4: July 18-29 Session 5: Aug 1-12 Classes are 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The camp also offers early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:30 p.m. for an additional $25 fee. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day. ABOUT: Our featured speaker for this weekend will be Greg Gunter, Youth Pastor at Covenant Baptist Church in Romney, WV. Greg has a heart for young people and making sure they understand the Word of God in a practical way. This weekend, our theme is FOUNDATIONAL. All buildings are built upon a foundation. The foundation determines how well the structure will stand. You'll be challenged this weekend to look at what your life is built upon and what is the real foundation in your life. RETREAT COSTS: Register for the retreat on or before October 14 and the price is $59.00. The price for the retreat increases to $64.00 on registrations that come in after October 14. Session 4 Half Day Seedlings - Hampshire College Farm Center
Seedlings is a 1-week summer camp for 3 and 4 year olds at the Hampshire College Farm Center. A small group of 8 children and an experienced teacher and assistant will gather each weekday for a hands-on exploration of farm and garden life. With the cozy farmhouse sun room as home base, the Seedlings will venture out to the barnyard, the childrens garden, and the larger farm fields and woods for a balance of work and play that meets individual needs. Shooting Basics is the first of 3 programs under the Shooting Fundamentals Series. Designed to help athletes develop or improve their shooting form. Shooting Basics will teach players correct footwork, body positioning and ball placement as they execute shots from various positions on the court. Step in shots, shots off the dribble and off the catch will be the concentration in this program. Players will also work on range shooting and free throw positioning and routine. Each player will build the muscle memory to consistently shoot with control and confidence. Once players complete this program they will be able to enroll in the second program under the Shooting Fundamentals Block - Shot Breakdown. Program consists of 6 - 1 hour sessions.
