Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Summer Rec Camp Week One - Full Time - North Hampton School
Our mission is to provide a safe, peaceful and harmonious environment where campers can spend time with their friends while creating new ones. Summer Rec Camp consists of six weekly programs that run Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:00 pm). The Full Time program has a field trip every Tuesday and Thursday. Lunch, snacks and drinks must be provided by the parents/guardians. Outdoor activities and field trips are subject to the weather. Rain dates have been planned for appropriate trips. A camp tee shirt will be provided and must be worn on all field trips as well as to the beach. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All fees must be paid prior to the first day of camp. Cancellation of any weeks must be done two full weeks in advance, in writing, in order to be considered for a refund. Please, do not send food that contains peanut butter. Sew Wicked Fun Camp - RSU5 Recreation and Community Education
Come learn basic sewing skills or fine tune your existing ones while making fun projects. Campers will both hand sew and machine sew a variety of different items. April 22,29,May 6,13 & 20 We have explored Cave Painting, Egyptian Tomb Painting, Vase Paintings from Crete, Greek Columns combined with self portraits as Roman Senators, Byzantine Mosaics and Romanesque Book Art. This winter we will be finishing up Romanesque Book Art and starting Gothic Stained Glass Windows. The students will be designing a stained glass window using paint and focusing on their favorite person, place or thing as the subject. From there we will be doing an up-to-date portrait of Mona Lisa using the body images of current internet and pop culture stars along with an au courant landscape in watercolors. The year will probably culminate in an Impressionist still life based on the work of Vincent Van Gogh. There will be a slide review before each session to update the new-comers! 7275964331.0
