This weekly, high energy session puts emphasis on skill-building games, which promotes maximum learning and enjoyment - enhanced by a small-sided match. These sessions are family-friendly, since SIBLINGS CAN PLAY AT THE SAME TIME/ PLACE, divided according to age/ experience. Rovers accommodates all levels of play for boys and girls. Parents are encouraged to arrange a make-up class if their child misses a session. Please bring a soccer ball and a water bottle. Global Premier Soccer Session 2 - North Yarmouth Academy
Global Premier Soccer-Maine and NYA will partner to offer a comprehensive soccer program on NYAs campus for students ages 8-13. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the game including passing and receiving, ball control, attacking/defending principles and shooting. The camp will conclude with a mini World Cup tournament on Friday afternoon which parents will be encouraged to attend. Alongside this, we will be running a Coaches Challenge where the students will compete against their coaches with prizes on the line. Lights...Camera...Action! Students dream of having their favorite LEGO® characters come to life become a reality in our movie making class. Using stop-motion animation and digital post- production editing, students produce LEGO® Brickfilms much like the ones viewed on YouTube. Students learn about developing creative storytelling techniques, incorporating visual and audio special effects. This is a great class to take with friends. Dance Express Camp - Jefferson County Community Center
This camp is a great way for dancers to have the opportunity to try many types of dance. Each class will begin with a warm-up stretch and flexibility workout. The, 30 minutes of each class will be dedicated to ballet technique, which is the root of all dance styles. The students will explore new styles of dance. Monday and Wednesday will be dedicated to Lyrical, Tuesday and Thursday will be dedicated to Jazz and Hip Hop. Each day the students will finish class working on a small dance piece that they will perform for parents on the last day of camp.
