Learn fundamental techniques and skills necessary to be a successful lacrosse player by the Chicago Outlaws Lacrosse. Basic skills will be emphasized and range from ground balls, passing and throwing to stick skills, one-on-one skills and team format. Chicago Outlaws has a limited amount of equipment available for a $25 rental fee at the camp. (Equipment is adult sizes). All Participants will get a reversible pinny. Senior Morning Camp - Lewis & Clark College
Senior camp is centered on small group instruction in technique, nutrition, and training for specific events. Our coaches go beyond the basics and fundamentals, instructing campers based on their age, experience, and goals. Our coaches are well-versed in the best coaching and training methods and are excited to share that knowledge with our campers. Events include pole vault, shot put, discus, sprints, long jump, high jump, javelin and distance running. Athletes will receive three full days of comprehensive training, technique and drills. Math competition camp (Grades 4-5) - The Oakwood School
This summer math camp is intended to prepare students for participation in math competitions at the elementary level. The competitions included in this mathlete preparation include Math Olympiad, Noetic Math Competition, and regional math competitions. Students will utilize questions from previous competitions and other preparatory materials, individually and in groups, to prepare for individual and team competition environments as well as speed round competitions. This camp will explore subjects such a s animal behavior, biology, food chain, and the importance of biodiversity and conservation. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live animals. Each day will feature a new animal friend, such as a reptile, amphibian, mammal, bird, or arthropod.
