CAMPS CLOSED July 4-8 In addition to the fun and exciting time your campers(s) will have during the morning camps at Greensboro Day School, they can also take part in the Afternoon Explorations Program! This program is offered for children in pre-kindergarten through 5th grade and operates from 2:00pm-5:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Afternoon Explorations Camp is much more than a place to send your child in the afternoon; this camp involves structured weeks that incorporate hands-on activities and weekly outside activities related to that weeks theme. The Afternoon Explorations Camp will be offered the weeks Summer Programs is in session. Please sign your camper(s) up as soon as possible because camp enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Join the YSI naturalists and develop your investigative skills to help us solve a natural mystery! Learn how to utilize your senses and then employ the tools of a scientist to delve more deeply into the mysteries of the world around us. Look for clues that animals leave behind and see what you can discover. Conduct tests on water and soil and learn how to use magnification tools to examine small evidence and to see things that hide from the naked eye.
