Canyon Creek is just about an hour’s drive outside LA and I’m really glad we took our kids. They learned a lot about several different sports and seemed to be really excited when we picked them up. It is near a large lake and is a beautiful area. The camp was huge and had many sporting facilities. All of the equipment seemed to be new and the camp counselors were great with the kids. Come out to Watauga's Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars. Free hot dog dinner(with preregistration by 9/16/15). Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own! Age Divisions: 6 & under, 7-11, 12-16. Prizes will be awarded. Don't forget your tent and camping gear! Projects designed specifically for kids ages 7-12... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week and then having a "showcase" party on Friday from 12-2pm to show off what the kids have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

In this class taught by USA Waterski certified instructors, students can experience the basics of wakeboarding, water skiing, and kneeboarding on Boca Ciega Bay, adjacent to the Eckerd College campus. Participants are encouraged to try all three sports, but instructors let them choose their equipment each time. Your child will love the excitement of these fast and fun watersports! 727-864-8288

Students in Game Design will have the opportunity to create a video game using Kodu Game Lab! Our theme is "Sea Life". Your child will utilize the sea creatures, objects and "bots" in order to save the underwater environment from toxic dredge and ooze. Students will learn to program an underwater submarine to clean up the ocean floor and defend our sea life. We will build the seafloor with the terrain tools, add sealife and objectives. Students will learn how to program scoreboards and timers in order to tell their story and program enemy bots.
