K3/K4 Kindergym - Merritt Academy
•Tuesdays • Leap into learning! Young gymnasts will tumble and twist their way through floor exercises, mat skills and motor skill stations as they build flexibility, strength, endurance and self-confidence. Skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, jumps and partner stunts are introduced as well as exercises and techniques for balance and coordination. Indoor/Outdoor 1/2 Day Camp - Fieldhouse
LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED. PARENT MUST CHECK CAMPER IN AND OUT EACH DAY. Please wear your indoor shoes every morning! 8:30 Camper Drop Off/registration @ Field House or HLES Bldg 9:00 Skill Development, Fun and Games both Indoor and outside! 12:00 Camper Pick Up In front of Field House. Ages: must be 7 by time of camp up to 13 years old. This camp is for the younger players looking for fun training that will help them improve their current skills. It offers a chance for players to work with college coaches and interact with college players. Campers will train in a wide variety of facilities such as the turf indoor soccer facility, intramural fields and more. Bring your indoor and outdoor shoes/cleats, ball, water bottle and sunscreen. Home School Art - STEAM Rachel Egelston Thursdays Jan. 7- Feb. 25, 1-2:30 p.m. $105 member / $155 non-member Ages 5-13 all materials provided Students will be introduced to the various correlations between the visual arts and math, science, history and literature. The course features a variety of two- and three- dimensional art forms in the creative process, mediums used include clay, pastels ink, and acrylic. Mountainside Adventures 1 - Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center
With the Mohonk Preserve and Mohonk Mountain House land as the arenas for exploration, Mountainside Adventures allows campers to have fun while hiking to new and exciting destinations each day. Campers will focus on developing their problem-solving skills through exciting team challenges and spend their days creating their own adventures along the trail. Days will be active with quiet time at the end of each day for reflection, be it sitting on a log in the forest or within the recess of a rock crevice.
