It is time for our 2nd semester of the Academy to begin! ( This is a year long program. Do not register for this class unless you are a current Academy student from fall 2015 ) This semester we focus on creating a production from beginning to end ( including set design, production coordination, marketing. outreach, etc. ) This course will also give the acting students a chance to channel some of the acting skills they learned into their character in the show. ***We will be performing one acts titled : " The Waiting Room" and " The Other Room" These performances will be open to the public. Please remember our tech week will be May 31st-June 2nd, from 2pm until 9pm each day Eveyone must attend each day of Tech rehearsal. Is There a Dress Code?
Different camps have different types of dress codes, which is why parents should read all registration materials and welcome packets in advance. For example, a Christian camp may not want youth to wear two-piece bathing suits or spaghetti strap tank tops whereas a different camp may not care. Most summer programs will ask that youth wear age-appropriate clothing. This means avoiding any t-shirts or clothing items that have offensive or suggestive language or any overtly sexual and violent imagery.
Both the summer program’s mission or specialty and daily schedule and activities will dictate the details of the camp’s dress code....

February Visit & Info Session - Wheatley Heights, NY
A Usdan Visit and Information Session is an excellent way to learn about our many summer programs and what makes them both fun and educational. We begin with a guided walk through campus, introducing the music, art, dance, theater, writing, chess, nature and recreation departments. Our administrative leadership will share a few ideas about what shapes the Usdan program, from where we draw our inspiration, and what makes a summer at Usdan unlike any other. We will explain the enrollment process, and you will be given a chance to talk in small groups, or individually, with our knowledgeable team of arts faculty and staff members. We end the visit with a self-guided walk and exploration of the grounds. Camp Yolo - Adult Summer Camp Sept - Long Weekend - San Francisco, CA
Hey Friends all work and these Adult camps posts has me wanting to go to camp. PROBLEM: No adult camp in SF area (aside from a digital detox hippy thing) SOLUTION: Organize One. If we get enough interest will make it happen, will decide in 1 week. Need like 200+ Yes's and I will get the wheels in motion. CONCEPT: Adult Summer Camp All the fun + the booze Think meeting new people, activities like swimming,canoeing, rock wall, sports, slip n slide flip cup, arts crafts, cooking class, and etc. Broken into teams, olympics style, dancing under stars all night, talent show, etc. Was inspired by Camp No Counselors check it out to get an idea - https://vimeo.com/99644036 It'd be $299 - 349 estimated PP for transport, accommodation, catered food, activities + TShirt ;) + OPEN BAR all 3 Days. SOCCER CAMP - MUS Webb Field
Skills targeted: Soccer camp focuses on fundamentals and techniques for new players as well as techniques and tactics for more experienced players. Cost includes camp T-shirt. 901-260-1300
Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362

Coach C and Obvious Choice Sports return to TPS for a dynamic summer of athletic fun! Campers will learn and improve their skills under the guidance of a talented and experienced coaching staff in a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, hockey, and dodgeball. Each day will be filled with practice drills, relay races, and game play designed to help campers learn fundamentals, improve their motor skills, and build confidence. Obvious Choice Sports offers campers of all skill levels an environment, where they can play sports without pressure while having a great time. Join in the All-Star fun!
