Description: Learn to identify birds by sight and sound, and find out how to make your backyard into a wildlife sanctuary. Get to know other junior bird enthusiasts while hiking, playing games, and doing crafts during a week that is truly ?for the birds?. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bird Bonanza is a three-day half-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 6-8. All participants should wear play clothes, closed-toe shoes (like sneakers or day hikers) and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each camp session. Prepare for each camp day by bringing a filled water bottle, a simple snack and applying your favorite sunscreen and bug spray. Through yoga, meditation, dance, stories, and hands-on activities we will journey through the bliss and playfulness of Kundalini yoga. This is AKASPORTs 13th year of multi-sports camps and programs and the activities we have scheduled for this year are simply the best bringing kids the most entertaining and active Summer All Sports Camp program yet! OLYMPIC Games Opening Ceremonies Week provides the perfect way to launch into the summer with multi-sports activities, Olympic Games including track and field events and competitions throughout. Field Trip of the Week : Brunswicks Zone Bowling and Arcade, Thursday, June 16 FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Come to a galaxy far, far away and learn the mysterious ways of the force! In one exciting week, campers enroll in our Jedi Academy where they learn to use the Force, and become highly trained in the use of light sabers, including light saber safety! With the help of your fellow Jedi, you compete in Star Wars trivia contests, work together to construct a Star Wars planet, design costumes and compete for "Jedi points" to increase your Star Wars rank. Now you too, can battle with the dark side and restore the Jedi order. Campers are divided by grade into developmentally appropriate groups. Enroll now ! Where: NDP GAC About: NDP volleyball camps are designed to provide girls an opportunity to improve their individual skills in an atmosphere that is challenging, intense and fun. Our experienced staff, including current NDP coaches and players, encourages all campers to work hard, learn new skills and make new friends. Fundamentals and team concepts will be stressed. Campers should arrive 15 minutes early on the first day to check in. These camps often sell out, so please sign up early. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, indoor athletic shoes, socks, knee pads and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy.
