The Junior Club Team meets every Sunday, July through September. Juniors will learn new skills during the practice sessions and play on course matches to help them develop tournament play skills. They will learn to play different match formats to gain experience. Want to play like the pros? As part of the club team, all juniors are participating in the Junior Cup Challenge. Each week there will be a different format played, with points being awarded based on position finished. She also had the opportunity to ride a horse on the trails of the Sandia Foothills. She loved being outdoors and learning about horses. They also had a good old fashioned cookout. Nasimco Youth Leadership Retreat 2016 - Fruitland Park, FL
NASIMCO is pleased to announce the 2016 Youth Leadership Retreat with the theme of “Thinking Outside the Box: Making Your Voice Count!” This year the retreat will be held in sunny Orlando, Florida. It is an initiative led by youth with the vision of creating a forum for dialogue to enhance the ability of participants to think outside the box, engage in self-reflection, become socially conscious and have the confidence to act upon it in their local and global communities. This year’s retreat is hosted by the Husseini Islamic Center of Florida, INC. at the Warren W. Willis United Methodist Camp in sunny Fruitland Park, Florida. The retreat will combine facilitated workshops, debates, dialogue and recreational activities in order to optimize learning opportunities for all participants. It will take place during the Labour Day weekend, from September 2nd to September 5th, 2016. The intended participants are all youth ages 18 to 25. Registration is USD $200.00 per participant, which includes food, lodging, and ground transportation within Orlando. Spaces at the retreat are limited to 30 participants.
