The focus for the young ones is fun and exciting games to build confidence and teach the fundamentals of soccer. Players cover ball familiarization, small group dynamics, coordination skills and social interaction, all with maximum participation in a fun oriented environment. The program lasts 3 hours a day for 5 days. Each child receives a t-shirt and certificate at the end of the week! Positional Camp II - Hearnes Center
Features concentrated instruction for the athlete (grade 6-12) who wishes to focus on a designed poition (setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, or libero/defensive specialist). Campers will spend the majority of their time drilling on those skills unique to their chosen position. Team play is also provided to incorporate individual skill development into team offensive and defensive systems. Camp is open to all female participants only limited by age. 573-882-0726
1. Pitzelim - S1 - Camp Chaverim
Campers not required to be potty-trained. Our youngest campers play in their own area where they are closely supervised by experienced Early Childhood Specialists and trained Counselors to maintain a very high staff-to-camper ratio. Specialists lead our littlest campers in music, creative movement, art, nature, cooking, and special Chaverim Kindness projects. Campers stay on site at all times. 4058483132.0
Book & Movie Inspired Art (P.M.) with Pam Peters - Westerly Creek Elementary (Art Room)
Teacher: Pam Peters Childrens stories and movies will be the springboard for creating unique pieces of art. Projects will include collage, painting and clay. Back to School Boot Camp: Fourth and Fifth Grade CurriculumGet your mind and body fit for the school year with this unique experience. Join Mr. Chad Hamilton and Mr. Ben Spencer, both credentialed teachers, for their Back to School Boot Camp! The program combines academic tutoring and athletic activities. Reading, writing, and math skill building will be alternated with athletic activities to prepare incoming second, third, fourth, fifth & sixth graders. All curriculum will be aligned with Common Core Standards. Students will be given optional homework, needed literature and academic materials. Parents will be given an opportunity to share their childs needs prior to the camps introduction so curriculum can be individualized. Students will use the athletic activities and games to guide academic projects. Think calculating averages, graphing and sport related literature. Boot Campers will receive one-on-one and small group instruction!
