Teen Camp Chinatown Planting Service Project - Chicago, IL
Our service project will be this Saturday. We'll meet up at church first at 8:30 AM and go from there. The project will last until 12:00 PM. All are welcomed to participate, but remember, you must be there if you anticipate that you'll be requesting a need-based scholarship for Teen Camp 2015. Also, this should count for service learning hours, if that's your thing. Thanks.

Kid's Camp at VT People's Convention - Montpelier, VT
This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under. To make lasting and far reaching change we need the participation of Grandparents, Parents and their Children! The Kid’s Camp at the People’s Convention will not only provide quality childcare, but will be a fun space for kids to learn about and participate in creating a more just and vibrant world. Through stories and activities, kids will have opportunities to learn and think critically about various struggles for human rights and dignity. With art projects, cooperative games, and nature exploration kids will be encouraged to express themselves and make friends. Kid's Yoga Camp w/ Julie Pellerin-Herrera Session 1: July 11-15 Session 2: July 25-29 Monday-Friday 10:30-11:45 am For girls & boys aged 6-10 Kids will have fun developing self-awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility. They will learn how to center their minds through focused breathing exercises and explore their imagination through fun games and visualizations. 2017 Teen Winter Retreat - Jackson, OH
Registration for the retreat will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 3– 4 p.m. and will dismiss at 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 29. The Teen Winter Retreat will feature many fun events, activities and programs. You will need to bring your completed health form and activity release form that is signed by your parent/guardian in order to participate. Please bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes as we will probably be taking part in some outdoor activities during the retreat. You will also need to bring your own, bedding, towels and bathroom supplies. Registrations should be submitted by Friday, January 20 to Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp.
