A week filled with friends and fun. Uncle Chad will come and share with us again at Vespers time. Campers will enjoy their favorite activities and discover new things to do at camp. Youth Leadership Summit 2.0
Held in Ashland, Nebraska at Carol Joy Holling Camp and Retreat Center, this event will gather youth from across the ELCA for intentional leadership development and faith formation. Our guests include Presiding Bishop Eaton, Kevin Strickland, Assistant to the Presiding Bishop/Executive for Worship, Stephen Bouman, Executive Director for Congregational and Synodical Missions of the ELCA, and several other wonderful speakers and teachers. Our featured presenter is Lyle Griner who will be coaching us on Peer Ministry. Each synod will select two youth to participate and send one adult to accompany them on the journey. Registration will be covered by a special grant. Your only responsibilities will be travel and being open to what God has in store for you through this event. Registration closes on October 1, 2015.

Sports Camp Week 2: Karate Camp - Westminster School
Vendor: Kyles Karate Camp Griffin welcomes one of our Enrichment instructors to Camp!! Kyle has been teaching karate for over six years, and holds a black belt along with training in various disciplines. Kyles Karate offers a camp program that will first and foremost engage your child in a safe, fun, and exciting class at Camp Griffin teaching basic skills suited for this age group with absolutely NO student contact. Kyles Karate will develop your childs confidence, hand eye coordination, and concentration. your child will gain improved motor skills, balance, and focus! Through physical activity in the form of exciting martial arts. respect, and listening skills round out the comprehensive program. *8 child minimum, 20 maximum (703) 340-7268

The ocean is full of action, adventure, and discovery. Take a new journey into the marine environment each day by foot, kayak, or SUP. Learn about bait balls, action packed salt ponds and benthic communities by pulling up animal traps and collecting bottom samples. Thrash on waves using boogie boards, go on a kayak excursion, and help choose our snorkel sites. Pick a new travel destination with your class, and decide the route to take us to our destination. Includes: kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkel adventures, playing in the salt pond and the ocean. 860-535-9362

This elementary social skills class focuses primarily on the important social basics of building friendships, appropriate communication and peer group interaction. Emphasis is put on self awareness and enabling reciprocity with peers to further students understanding of how they are interpreted by peers. 713-461-7200
