Featured Field Trip - St. Paul Saints Baseball Game, St. Paul FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. Clark Youth Theatre Summer Camp Sign Ups - Tulsa, OK
Clark Youth Theatre will hold a series of summer Theatre Camps at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center. Enrollment begins Saturday, April 2nd at 8:30am. Each two-week camp includes classes on acting, dancing, and other performance skills. This is a great opportunity for children ages 8-14 who are interested in theatre and performing arts. Campers must have completed the second grade. The cost is $225 per session. The remaining dates for summer Theatre Camp are: Session 1: June 6-17 Session 2: June 20-July 1 Session 3: July 5-15 Session 4: July 18-29 Session 5: Aug 1-12 Classes are 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. The camp also offers early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up until 5:30 p.m. for an additional $25 fee. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day. $225 for members of participating organizations; $250 for non-members Come to our waterfront to play music, get creative, bake bread and construct books while exploring the theme of "water." Children enjoy new experiences each day at four top arts centers, including the Guthrie Theater, Mill City Museum, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and MacPhail Center for Music. Campers will start each day at Mill City Museum and walk with camp leaders less than three blocks to each art organization. Early drop off between 8:30 - 9:00 and late pick up between 3:30 - 4:00 available. The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show preschoolers how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Saturday Theater - The Secret Case of Sherlock Holmes - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
A fully staged production with many levels of depth and humor in this clever mystery. Upstart detectives Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are on their first case. Their client, H.G. Wells has hired them to find a manuscript by Arthur Conan Doyle. Hiding from their angry landlord, Holmes and Watson duck into Wells time machine, and soon find themselves in the 21st century. They end up at the Freudly Institute where they meet inmates who believe they are George Washington, Marilyn Monroe, Tarzan, Emily Dickinson, Lizzie Borden, Count Dracula, and Queen Victoria. Holmes is thought to be just another patient and Watson is his doctor just playing along. When a murder happens on the grounds, Holmes sets out to uncover the clues, while trying to prove he is the real Sherlock Holmes.
