We're hosting a one of a kind, crazy, never done before benefit for Cadyn Hanson (high school students only). Cadyn is going to be a Sophomore at MCHS. When Cadyn was three he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Unfortunately the cancer has returned. While most of us are taking tests, Cadyn will be fighting for his life- lets show him that he's not fighting alone. Come, bring your love and cash if you have it and help us make it rain for Cadyn. Ferry to History - Thursday Camp 4-28-16 - PS87 Afterschool Program
Staten Island Ferry trip & Historic Richmond Town Take a trip on one of the citys oldest attractions as we hop onto the Staten Island Ferry, then continue on to Historic Richmond Town to learn about seventeenth-century life and traditions. Kids will travel to South Ferry by MTA Subway, then board a private bus to historic Richmond Town, and come back by bus, ferry, and subway to PS 87.
Senior Morning Camp - Lewis & Clark College
Senior camp is centered on small group instruction in technique, nutrition, and training for specific events. Our coaches go beyond the basics and fundamentals, instructing campers based on their age, experience, and goals. Our coaches are well-versed in the best coaching and training methods and are excited to share that knowledge with our campers. Events include pole vault, shot put, discus, sprints, long jump, high jump, javelin and distance running. Athletes will receive three full days of comprehensive training, technique and drills. Receive professional tennis instruction in a fun group environment. Well cover the basics from proper footwork and grips to stroke production and movement. Basic skills including volley, forehand, backhand and serving will be taught through games and drills. For beginner through intermediate players. Supplies: Campers should bring their own tennis racket and water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. Pure Sweat Elite Skills coach, Matt Pugh will lead the Hannibal, MO Spring Skills Academy. The training days available are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Training times are TBD.
