2016 Teen Safe Driving Camp - Forsyth, GA
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, will be holding the 9th annual Safe Driving Camp for ages 15-17. The one day camp will teach new drivers about the consequences of distracted driving, the dangers of driving impaired, tips for defensive driving, skid recovery techniques, safety at railroad crossings, and demonstrate important vehicle maintenance practices. The camp will take place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center from 9:00am until 4:30pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Anyone wishing to attend must complete the application and return it to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office either in person or by mail. Deadline for applications is Friday, July 01, 2016. Applications may be picked up at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office during normal business hours. Space is limited.

Session 3 - Team Camp - Florida Southern College
The goal of this camp is to spend 4 days having a blast playing the game of volleyball, learning new techniques, developing team chemistry and exposing teams to new concepts and strategies. The coaches will cover individual skills (passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving) as well as team concepts (offensive systems, defensive patterns, serve receive patterns, transition). There will be a day and a half of training followed by two days of competition. Individuals may also attend. They will be skill tested and put on teams. The emphasis for this camp is on building team concepts within each group of players. (Ages 11-18) Check in will be Sunday at 4:00 pm and Check out will be Wednesday at 11:00 am 863-680-4474

Let the summer begin at Camp Griffin with a fun filled week of sports and friendly completion while getting great exercise. Children will experience a variety of sports, cooperative games, organized activities, board games, relay races, and team building challenges. Activities will take place in age-appropriate classrooms, the state-of-the art Griffin Gymnasium, expansive outdoor playground, and on an outdoor grassy field. Children will strike up a day of fun by visiting a local bowling alley. Kickoff the summer and create special memories at Camp Griffin! (703) 340-7268

The Bay Areas finest musical theatre professionals teach kids how to sing, act and dance! This adventurous program explores theatre through collective creation, story development and improvisation. Students also learn about various aspects of technical theatre, such as set construction, painting, costumes and make-up. Guided by their teachers, students share their creativity with parents and friends on the final day of camp. Performance on final day at 3:00 pm. Participants need to bring a bag lunch daily.
