COURSE Campers will learn about the science of robotics with historical information, discoveries, and advances in robot technology. Lego robots take on a new set of hurdles as they duke it out on the track. Race the stop-watch and each other to be the first to complete all your laps without being torn apart in the challenge. Foul play is fair game in Robo-Roller Derby. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration.
