3D Printing and Modeling - Building A
In this camp from Youth Digital, campers learn key modeling concepts as they design their 3D model in preparation for real 3D printing. At the end of camp, kids will walk away with a completed 3D model that is ready for 3D printing! Theyll also be able to access the online version of the course after camp, including video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and new challenges. Campers will learn the basics of 3D modeling as they prepare to have their creations printed using groundbreaking 3D printing technology. During camp, kids master 3D modeling and design skills including how to sculpt, texture, arrange, and render their 3D creation in preparation for 3D printing. This summer will be the 22nd year of Adventure Amputee Camp and we keep getting better. We will have a bus ready to pick up campers in Atlanta and take them to camp or you can meet us at camp in Bryson City, NC. Applying to Camp: Priority will be given to new campers and those put on the waiting list last year. Also, medical and liability releases will be required for the safety of your camper and for camp. We can accommodate a maximum of 34 campers. Upon receipt of your application and selection to camp, we will send you a complete information packet with all the camp preparation details. What does it cost? Thanks to the generosity of many donors, a $25 application fee for first time campers, and $50 application for repeat campers. If this fee presents a hardship, check the appropriate box on the application form, and the fee is waived. No camper is turned away due to financial hardship.
