With a name like Camp Thunderbird, how could you go wrong? Our son had such a wonderful time. The pictures of his water skiing are the best! He was also very excited about the sailing lessons and has been going around the house tying everything into proper knots. Shake off winter and visit Camp Long for a day of fun outdoor experiences! Camp Long is celebrating its 75th birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to put the camp though its paces. This camp experience is a 3 week block meant to give high school students that have completed their freshman and sophomore year an opportunity to lead at camp. They will have the opportunity to work with the camp staff, as well as be part of the summer camp program in helping to lead in several different capacities. Come learn and grow with us at Campapalooza I, where the participants will fill their days with team sports, art classes, swimming lessons, open swim, movie day, weekly field trips and much more! There will be plenty of fun had by all. Participants provide their own sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, and movie concession money. Snacks, swim instruction, open swim, all classes, movie admission and field trips are included. No camp on July 4th. A newly added benefit is all Campapalooza I campers will receive a complimentary 2016 Park Forest Aqua Center membership. Payment Plan Terms : A $100 deposit per camper and a $10 payment plan processing fee must be paid in full at registration. Remaining camp balance must be paid in full by Monday, June 6, 2016 to attend camp.
