Kid's Yoga 3-Day Winter Camp - Centralia, WA
Beat those cabin fever blues and join Madlyne for Kid's Yoga Day Camp this Winter at Embody! WHO: All kids ages 6 to 12! WHEN: December 28th, 29th and 30th (Mon, Tue, Wed) - 2:00pm to 3:30pm WHERE Embody Movement Studio: 115 S. Tower Ave. Centralia, WA WHY: Fun! Relaxation! Play! Strength! Flexibility! Kid friendly yoga poses, stretches and breathing exercises are incorporated with games that teach positive ways to channel and expel excess energy! Your children won't forget this experience and will take-away great stretches and poses to do at home. Kids should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle. Madlyne is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and has over three years of experience working with children of varying ages. During the school year, Madlyne works at R.E. Bennet as a classroom assistant for children with special needs.

Leaders will have the opportunity to "connect" with other youth leaders in ministry, and to share ideas and resources! Bring printed material on events you would like to promote to share with the group. You will hear about some great opportunities for ministry through this camp for special needs students. This will also be our "elections" business session at 11:15 prior to lunch. All voting members are encouraged to be present. Also, those who want may join the Coordinator to be praying for our campuses, students, and leaders about 30 min. prior to the start. Teen Theatre Boot Camp Be in a one act musical where YOU have input to the character development, blocking, costume design and sets as you rehearse and create the production. Be trained by local directors in drama, dance, and voice. Everyone gets a part in the show. An exercise in creativity all around. This is a great environment to push yourself as an actor, try something new, and see how it works out. Together with your cast, create the set pieces, props, and costume pieces. Do both with this camp as you learn the fundamentals of Java programming by creating your own modification for every item, block, or creature you add. First design the graphics, then modify Java code to quickly program new features. You will edit Java templates in order to learn the fundamentals of the language without getting bogged down typing hundreds of lines of code, one by one. Campers will experience activities such as games, swimming, and hikes, along with unique arts and crafts projects in different mediums each day. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Make sure your child (grade 1-6) is a part of this awesome summer. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and bug spray, a water bottle and lunch everyday. Afternoon snack will be provided. Children should wear clothes that can get dirty and comfortable shoes that they can wear while running and hiking. Camp will run from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Join us as our Wildcat Soccer is changing to YDL versus CASA this year! Open to all 5th and 6th grade boys and girls. Practices will be held on the Japonica athletic field beginning Feb 1st. Games will be played on Saturdays. This will be a 6 week session: Game dates are set for: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, Mon 3/21 OR Tues 3/22. Player registration includes officials costs, new jersey, and a Page Mate photo. Player is responsible for black soccer shorts (per coach discretion), socks/shin guards, and soccer cleats.
