Sing! - Palace Education and Performance Center
Working with well known movie and Broadway songs, children will learn the fundamentals of singing. Each class will explore warming up and vocal technique with age appropriate tunes and vocal games. Children will also learn musical theatre performance techniques which will culminate in numbers performed for family and friends at the end of the year performance. Songs will be chosen from the classic Disney songbook through newer Broadway favorites. Past performance pieces have included such favorites as "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" from Frozen, "Evrybody Wants to Be a Cat" from Disneys The Artistocats and "Choose Me" from The Castaways. This first-class soccer camp focuses on enhancing individual skills, building team tactics and teaching intricacies of the game. In addition to soccer skills, campers will spend time in our state-of-the-art 16,000-square-foot fitness center while working with Laurels certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist to learn about lifting techniques, agility, speed, ACL injury prevention and nutrition. Participants will be split into groups based on age and experience. Coach Dennis Weyn - Director of Coaching for Ohio Premier Soccer Club and Eastside Kickers, Dennis is a former member of the U16 and U18 Dutch National Teams and played professional soccer in the Netherlands and the US. We love our Arrowhead campers! These 2nd graders show that they are ready for all the fun activities Marinwood has to offer. Arrowhead campers can be seen exploring our local Forest, playing epic games of Capture the Flag on our field and have even known to travel over to Miller Creek to play in the giant gymnasium. When not exploring, Arrowheads like to play at our playground, take a dip in the pool or spend some chill time doing arts and crafts indoors.
