Fly fishing is a sport that teaches patience, improves motor skills, and fosters an appreciation for nature. No one can walk away from losing a five minute battle with a stubborn trout without a deep respect for the fish! Students will learn the basics of fly fishing – setting up their rod and reel, knot typing, basic overhead casting, selecting the right fly, etc. Discussion will also include the history of fly fishing, how its different from other kinds of fishing, and entomology. Pricing this year will be the same as last year, $15 per person per night for tenters ( 1 wrist band ) $33 per night for rvs 20/50 amp (2 wrist bands included) $59 queen cabin per night (3 wrist bands) $79 king cabin per night (4 wrist bands). As of now the Dry Creek Store is closed, so please bring extra food and supply's that you might need during your stay! We will keep you informed about any changes as we learn them.

Kid's Camp is open to children entering preschool (4 yrs old)- 5th grade in Fall of 2016. Roycemore School offers two funfilled adventures for you to choose from. Discovery Unlimited is a 2 week enrighment intensive for students in grades Junior Kindergarten through 4th grade. Sessions are entertaining and challenging. Day Camp campers are guided in all the traditional day camp fun by our experienced staff. Nature Detectives - Maple Hill Farm
Requirement: Children must be four years old at the start of class, able to separate from his/her parent, and be completely toilet trained. Start the week off with a Five Senses Adventure Hike. Students will learn to sharpen their observation skills while hiking Beaver Brooks trails. Meet some of our resident wildlife and learn interesting facts. Make your own detective kit, keep a nature journal, play games and learn wonderful new nature songs. Hands-on activities, artistic exploration, investigative hikes, games and songs designed to introduce natures beautiful gifts to young explorers. After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 8/8 - 8/12 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills.
