Don?t just sit at home during Spring break! Join Coach Marv Lim & MGB in this 4 day basketball camp, tournament and carnival. Each day, players will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot with balance, as well as learning proper defense using the most efficient and easy to understand drills. Players will play basketball games each day. On the last day, campers will participate in MGB?s trademark basketball carnival with TONS OF PRIZES and will play in a tournament complete with referees and scoreboard. This is an awesome event for kids who want to start playing basketball and for existing players who want to enhance their basketball knowledge & fundamentals! Campers will be divided according to skill level. Please bring a light snack each day, exercise clothing and a basketball. Science Readiness Camp 2016 - Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School
In the Science Readiness Camp, students strengthen their laboratory, basic mathematics and study skills. They learn how to make quantitative and qualitative observations while using the scientific method to explore real-world phenomena. A week filled with variety and action awaits! Gold camp participants will enjoy organized games, pool time, rock climbing, art instruction, a unique playground, and more in a safe and fun environment. Participants will work together using pi to try to open an ancient chest filled with treasure!! The chest is protected by a passcode that can only be determined through the activities within the lesson. Enjoy a progressive exposure to pi through this two-part lesson (total 110 minutes) offering a FUN storyline within the context of geometry and circles. Mua Mi Villagers are entering grades 8 and 9 live in tipis —weather permitting. Activities are geared to a more independent community experience. Mua Mi Villagers are active participants in their program planning, which includes advanced outdoor skills, waterfront skills, as well as advanced archery and the climbing wall.
