Direct from NEW YORK CITY, Broadway Workshop returns to Saint Michaels Playhouse for its 9th summer. Camp Vermont is a five day musical theater camp. Learn from Broadway Workshops acclaimed staff from New York City, as well as Playhouse stars who have worked on Broadway and at theatres across the country. For 2016 this camp will take place from Tuesday-Saturday (July 5th-9th) Campers will take center stage performing in 2 different hit Broadway musicals medleys specifically arranged for Camp Vermont. Every camper will get to step in the spotlight and be featured with lines and solos. In between rehearsals, campers will participate in theatrical workshops taught by special guest teachers. Since 1999, the Hamilton Area YMCA has provided recreational and social opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Through our SKOR program, participants build self-confidence and social skills, form lifelong friendships, and strive to achieve their highest potential. In addition to celebrating the achievements of our SKOR participants and sampling great food and cheer from local establishments, we will also recognize Gregg Gates as the Maurice T. Perilli Friend of SKOR. Tickets are $65.00 per person before September 21. Tickets are $75.00 per person after September 21. Middle School Math explores Pre-algebra and problem-solving designed to develop understanding of concepts and skills in preparation for the study of algebra. This course meets for 1-hour per day and is combined with Middle School English for a 2-hour program. Middle School English focuses on the careful reading of quality literary texts.
