Lil Leapers Kid's Camp with Teya Johnson - Folsom, CA
Lil Leapers ages 3-10 will enjoy a daily yoga camp where they can discover peace education through yoga, mindfulness practices and self-awareness. Students will be learning tools to help them get through stressful days in the classroom and at home. Yoga games, inspired-reading and visual vignettes will help keep the summer fun going while providing useful skills to take-home and share. Teen Robotics Camp - Day 3 - Dublin, GA

Summer Youth Baseball Development Camp @ RVYBL - Kankakee, IL
Is your child looking to improve his or her baseball skills or looking for something fun & productive to do during summer break? Then enroll them in our 2-day baseball camp. Our 2-day camp will focus on improve each player's hitting & fielding skills as well as instruct them on proper base running technique and understanding situational plays (from turning a double play to backing up positions properly and more). After the camp, each player will also receive a take home guide that covers all the training they received during the camp so they can reference back to it when needed ~ or so parents can help more at home! Field Trip Camp - with Mr. Earl - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Field Trips will leave at different times. Drop-off at the Jefferson County Community Center will be at 9:00 a.m. for the trips on Monday thru Thursday. Friday?s trip to Hershey Park will leave from the JCCC at 7am and will return at 6:30pm. Some trips may not leave until later or may leave as early as 9:15 a.m. During wait time for bus departure and drop off, games and other activities will be provided for the children until they are boarded. Pick-up for campers will be at 4:00 p.m. All trips are transported by Jefferson County School Buses. Campers will be required to bring special items each day. Campers must bring a packed lunch to camp each day, and wear sneakers, along with a snack and plenty of water. Other examples include: swimwear, extra cash for concessions/souvenirs, sunscreen, etc. Parents/Guardians who would like to volunteer to assist with the camp must pay their own fees for entry for each field trip. Parents/Guardians will need to submit a volunteer background check by July 10, 2013 in order to attend any trip. Cost includes tickets and admission for all trips daily. Rock n Roll Explorations Camp - OCS Arts Center
Rock instruments, vocals, songwriting, recordings, and CD design! An action-packed week for boys and girls. No previous experience necessary. Great for campers with Beginning Guitar experience! Campers will bring their own guitar or bass or we provide keyboard or drums. Led by Arts Center faculty in a friendly atmosphere where campers play in a band, learn and write songs, and perform in an All Camp Jam Concert on the final day at 3pm. Instructor: Pamela Howett () Room: D-5 In this engaging class students will draw favorite undersea animals, including dolphins, sea stars, clownfish and more while learning fundamentals of art. Our fun projects are geared towards developing drawing skills within each class, as well as encouraging individual creativity and expression. While many of the projects are guided, each student works with his or her own vision and produces a unique finished piece. This class helps children develop cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills, and both verbal and non-verbal communication skills. CAMP DETAILS Fairy Tales Week In addition to fun theatre games that foster creativity, self-expression and teamwork, students will explore their favorite fairy tales through dramatic play. We will act out stories, improvise news interviews with fairy tale characters, create set pieces, engage in music, movement and puppet activities and much more! A showcase of our favorite stories will culminate this ensemble building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals.
