Jamie Young, an assistant for the 17-Time NBA Champion Boston Celtics, will host his 3rd annual youth basketball academy to support the Erika Kate Hope Alliance. He will be joined by an experienced staff of girls and boys basketball coaches from across the country. All proceeds will help ease the emotional, spiritual, and financial burdens borne by parents of children with life threatening heart conditions. Kids ages 5-12 will enjoy weaving with natural and recycled materials, and felting with naturally dyed alpaca fleece. Featuring special guest Phylleri Ball of Three Sisters Weaving. Kids will love spending this beautiful Fall day in the mountains of Nederland, outside of Boulder and Denver. Scrabble builds spelling, vocabulary, and social skills, and gives students a chance to compete against one another. For students in grades 3-5, Scrabble club is a fun and innovative way to develop vocabulary, spelling, math, and spatial relation skills. It improves your social skills as well your language skills, and its F-U-N! Come join Ms. Yedwab and Ms. Echave and start preparing for competitive Scrabble challenges at Deal! To round out this program the mini-men will also practice strength, flexibility, coordination, and agility challenges in a fun, age appropriate format. Strong, flexible and fit boys will be assets to any future basketball, football, or soccer teams. Begin here…go anywhere!
