We were looking for a different kind of family vacation away from the crowded theme parks. What we found at Camp Heart was the perfect space. First of all, you can beat being surrounded by all that pristine nature. There was plenty to do. Everyone had their time on their own and time as a family. 3rd-5th graders are invited to join us for our winter camp, WinterJam! This year's theme "Starry Eyed" will remind kids that the God who created everything there is- wants a personal relationship with them! Kids will become STARRY EYED as they see how over the moon in love with them God is. Each day is filled with Large Group time (worship and a lesson), small groups (where kids dig deeper) and fun activities (climbing an ice wall, sledding, or playing broomball). Kids will NOT want to miss this camp! A deposit of $25 secures your camper's spot and the remaining $75 is due by January 12th.

Pure Sweat Basketball is pleased to announce The Complete Player Clinic led by Alan Stein and Jordan Delp. These unprecedented clinics will be held at Augustana College - Carver Center for Physical Education on Sunday, May 15th. Pure Sweat Skills Clinic give players the opportunity to work with certified Pure Sweat Skills Coach, Jordan Delp, as well as experience drills and techniques that Pure Sweat Founder, Drew Hanlen, uses with his college and NBA clients on a daily basis. The Pure Sweat Performance (formerly Cutting Edge Performance) led by Alan Stein, founder of Stronger Team, the Head Performance Coach for the internationally renowned DeMatha Catholic High School basketball program and lead Performance Coach for the Nike Basketball Academy, focuses on improving basketball athleticism. The clinic addresses warm-up, movement preparation, mobility, core strength, explosiveness, quickness, agility and reaction. Travel to different lakes, rivers, sloughs, and streams around the Seven Rivers Region Fish with modern poles and open-bale reels Make and fish with Huck and Tom style cane pole Make primitive fish hooks Learn to read the water for good fishing spots Cloud watching and interpretation (for weather patterns/forecasting and of course fun) Build primitive fish traps Learn to tie the most useful fishing knots Hone your ninja-like discipline to be silent and still in order to lure in the big one-study fish behavior and why, how, and when they bite Catch and eat crayfish Multiple fishing styles: bottom fishing, cast and retrieve lure fishing, bobber fishing, etc. 507-272-5320
2016 Summer Clinic Series - Both Days - Gladchuck Field Hockey Complex
Each day will comprise of a 3 hour clinic covering various skills and field hockey concepts along with competitive games. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a 2 hour play session in the late afternoon that will comprise only games. You have the option of signing up for 1 day or for both. The concepts covered each day will be different and the games at the end of each clinic will focus on concepts covered that day. All players will be coached by current Division 1 coaches, as well as current and former Division 1 players. Registration will be limited to the first 150 applicants and is open to players in grades 3-12. Players will be divided into skill groups based on age level and experience level. 413-504-8539
Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. This art camp will be inspired by the ocean and all things Summer! Campers will create a fused glass beach scene, paint surfboards on canvas, tie-dye T-shirts and paint summer-themed pottery.
