Guest Speaker: Pastor Rahshan Wall Schedule Friday - Worship 7pm Saturday - Outreach 9am & Worship 11am & Social Event 8:30pm-11pm Outreach Details Dress: Casual What are we doing? We will be distributing Blessing bags to the less fortunate at Fairmount Park in Riverside California. What would the Blessing Bags consist of? - Hygiene Products (no mouthwash) - Water Bottle - First Aid materials (no sharp objects) - Baby wipes - Wash cloth - Chapstick - Sunscreen - Nonperishable food items Who is responsible for providing blessing bags? Each student is encouraged to bring a blessing bag with them. You can trade in your bag for a Mercy Chronicles t-shirt on Friday night or Saturday morning before we head to the Park. Transportation: There will be a bus available for transportation to the park. Spaces will be available to those who pre-register first. Capoeira Kid's Summer Camp - South Jordan, UT
Capoeira Kids Camp Kids! Join Capoeira Utah this July for fun, fitness, and a fantastic cultural experience at Capoeira Kids Camp. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian martial art that combines kicks and dodges with acrobatics and dance like movements all performed to live music! Camp takes place from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday, July 5 & 7, and July 12 & 14. Each day we'll do special capoeira training in levels for both beginners and experienced students as well as: Portuguese language Singing and Playing Instruments Acrobatics training Crafts (make your own maculele costume and sticks, wooden machete, and/or feathered samba headress) Traditional dances: Samba, maculele, a capoeira choreography and more! Camp is open to kids ages 6-11 with or without previous experience in capoeira. Summer Prospect Camp - U-M Soccer Complex
The Prospect Camp is designed for those wishing to learn more about playing at the collegiate level. This camp will provide the serious soccer player with the understanding of what it will take for success at the collegiate level. Coaching staff is made up of current University of Michigan Soccer staff and are assisted by current members of the team. A number of other local/regional/national college coaches will also assist as a coach or will be in attendance to watch and evaluate talent. As part of this camp we also offer a presentation from Coach Daley and the Admissions Department here at The University of Michigan. A brief evaluation of each students abilities will be provided at the end of the session. Students may be recommended for work with a reading teacher on a one-on-one basis.
