Anti Bully Kid Power Self Defense Camp! - Santa Barbara, CA
Two-Day Summer Camp for Children 5 to 13 years old on June 16th and 18th 9:30am to 11:30am. Space is limited to 15, enroll your child by May 29th to secure their space. Price is $99 for this Mind and Body Anti Bully Self Defense empowerment program. We will empower the children with boundary setting tools, both mentally and physically, greater awareness of potential dangers and inappropriate behaviors, 'power words' to use to show confidence, usage of important resources to feel secure (sharing fears/discomfort with teachers, parents and trusted adults to receive assistance). Graham Regional Theatre is excited to hold their first ever summer camp for aspiring actors! Classes and rehearsals will be at The Perry (521 Elm Street) where we will work on singing, dancing, and staging for our musical, Seussical, Jr.! Tuesday - Make Real Stuff! 3D Modeling - HoLa Lower School
Make real stuff - Think it and build it! TinkerCAD is an easy-to-learn cloud-based technology that lets you create 3D models to later 3D print or export to Minecraft. Students have fun while learning spatial thinking. The instructor Nicola Hoelz is a professional graphic artist and has studied 3D modeling and animation. The school will provide the laptops and internet access. At signup, please provide one parents email address for an account at Autodesk 123D. During the first one or two club meetings we will follow the online lessons, learning to navigate and create models. Curtains (A Broadway Musical Whodunnit)- 4 weeks - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
Newly licensed for teen productions, Curtains is a musical send-up of backstage murder mysteries set in the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959 where Bostons Colonial Theatre is host to the opening night performance of a new musical, Robbin Hood of the Old West. The show follows the fallout when the supremely untalented star of the show is murdered during her opening night curtain call and the entire cast and crew are immediately suspects. It is up to Lt. Frank Cioffi, a police detective who moonlights as a musical theater fan to save the show, solve the case, and maybe even find love before the show reopens, without getting killed himself. This Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee is filled with Broadway favorites like "What Kind of Man?", "The Womans Dead," and "Show People." Young Builder (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well!
