The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them. Additionally, the students meet other teens from around the state and have the opportunity to form life-long friendships with each other. Schools out and we have things to do ! Come hang with us for a few hours ! Ages 8 and up unless An adult is going to stay in the class. $25! Unique Summer Camps Just For Ages 9-13: Pioneer Camp - Grove, OK
July 18-21, Pioneer Camp, 9:30am-noon, $60 Have you ever wondered how the Pioneers lived long ago? This camp will allow you to experience many of the daily experiences of that time period bringing history to life. Print on a printing press, weave on a loom, learn how a blacksmith creates metal objects, dip candles and play with old-fashioned toys. Explore the items in “Grandmother’s Trunk” and learn how they were used, and cook on the hearth in Har-Ber Village’s Living History Cabin.

Summer Cooking Camp - Macon, GA
June 13-16 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. **REGISTRATION CLOSES JUNE 6TH. Final two days to register. ** Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

This creative class is perfect for art lovers! Draw, paint, and sculpt every day as we tackle new projects. Explore the basic techniques of art while enhancing creativity and self-expression. *Please note: Students who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp within the same week are invited to stay for FREE supervised lunch and recess between 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Students should bring a sack lunch that does not require heating or cooling. 9B. Summer Camp - Java Game Programming - 5 Days - Gizmos & Gadgets Kids Lab
Students will learn about project design, object-oriented programming, console applications, graphics applications and many elements of the Java language. Along the way students will build on what they learn each day. This includes learning how to program frames, colors and programming moving objects. The week begins with simple programming until it builds by the end where students will be able to create the game of pong in Java. No programming experience is necessary but doing common tasks on a computer is useful. Who knows, maybe you have the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs living in your house and you never knew it!
