Parents are welcome to stay and volunteer or drop off children for the camp. Volunteers will be background checked at the expense of Good Shepherd Church. Kitchen Kids CIT program provides the opportunity for teens to develop leadership and culinary skills. This program is ideal for high school students who love helping younger kids and being in the kitchen. Being a Kitchen Kid CIT is fun and rewarding. Special roles include assisting culinary coaches with mini lessons at the start of each day, prepping ingredients, providing support to the younger chefs, supervising clean up, creating extra recipes throughout the week, organizing the farmers market day, and leading their own small group at the end of the week.
