I have reserved 30 scout and 10 adults slots. We have time to adjust, but the sooner we get this nailed down the better. I will have a sign up sheet for the next Pack/Den Meeting next Thursday for all those interested in going. There is a fee for this $243/Scout and $115/Adult. We do get a free adult admission for every 6 Scouts that go. At the next Committee Meeting we will discuss how we want to ration that out, either by need, or reduce everyone's cost equally, etc.

For children going into 4th, 5th & 6th grade Kids will connect with animals as they explore their habitats, find evidence of their passing, spend time getting to know the HNC critters and even have the chance to help with feeding them. They will also play games and enjoy nature activities. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers.
