It is strange seeing Mitch still at it.If he's a Pennsylvania summertime person,it's partly cause he is sent couselors from far away.Would he remember the year 1992,I'll bet he would with miss Stephanie!It's possible the running rabbis lost their rep when mitch had his squad get them in a night game and come back with new aspirations.On campers,I didn't keep up with people on the grounds even Haden and Tracie who were from my state and we'll leave that to retired people like Bobby Miller.20+years... Read More...

The "Boys of Summer" Competition Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Check In & Late Registration: 2:00-3:00 PM at Roadrunner Field, Camp Hours 3-9 PM Limit: 60 Purpose: 1) Evaluation Section run by qualified staff. Evaluation will include: Height, Weight, 40 yard dash, arm strength & bat speed tested on radar gun, agility & quickness. Scores will be given to each individual at the end of camp. 2) Divide campers into teams and play games at the UTSA Baseball & Softball fields. We will provide a game experience. Teams will be coached by a UTSA staff member or player. 3) Teaching and Drill Work included 4) Parents are welcome to stay and watch the games or get some errands run and come back for pick-up. Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Kids in the Kitchen Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills.
