Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run - Kearney, NE
Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Even if you dont want to participate in the Mud Run we invite you to come out to the mini youth rally and help us cheer on those that are! All proceeds go towards our general scholarship program! Emoji Teen Camp! *See Event Info for Details* - Ravena, NY
Emoji Teen Camp is created for Ages 13-18 during the school break! Join us Thursday, February 18th 1-3pm at the studio! **This is a parent drop off event! ** You may drop your child off at 1pm and pick them up at 3pm! - Cost: $30 per teen includes (2) 12x12 canvases each to create any emoji's or paintings of choice. Each child will learn paint mixing techniques, outlining, shading and much more all while meeting new friends! - Reservations: We will limit this event to 16 teens. There is a $10 deposit due to sign your child up online at www.roamingpaintress.com - Click on Class Registration - If you are unable to register online please visit the studio any Monday evening during Open Art hours 4-10pm so we may get them registered - Remaining balance can be paid in Cash at drop off - Bottled water and juice will be available for each child and we ask that you bring a snack for them.

Artplay! Theatre and fine art collide! Join us for a new exploration of art history using the body and voice. Create scenes and mini plays using classic paintings and sculpture as the basis for story-creation, characters, and setting. Though improvisation, cooperation, and movement exploration, students will craft their own masterpieces of theatre inspired by art! Family and friends are invited to a theatre sharing on the last day of class. 202-724-8950
Growing Scientists: Nature Detectives - CuriOdyssey
Look through lenses, peek at a plant, or construct creations inspired by nature. Follow your nose through our garden, touch a tortoise, and search outdoors for clues to natures design. This camp encourages young scientists to explore the world using all five senses. Well explore nature through safe and exciting investigations of sound, light, texture, taste, and smell. Campers are sure to enjoy getting their hands dirty as they discover the sparkly, gooey, and stinky sides of science! Growing Scientists must be at least 3 years old by June 1, 2016, potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. MUSIC/CHORUS Branch Out into Music Singing and playing an instrument can be so much fun, but some students just dont know where to begin. This fun-filled class includes music basics, singing, and playing the recorder. From there, students may be able to branch out into playing another instrument, or learn to sing harmony in a choir. THE SCIENCE OF GARDENS Gardening, kids dig it. Each day of class will have a hands-on science and gardening theme. On the first day of class, we will learn about the basic needs of plants and students will plant seeds. On each subsequent day we will explore topics such as leaf adaptations, flowers & pollinators, fruit, seeds & seed dispersal, beneficial insects, garden art, and sustainable gardening.
